I personally had the side window on my Rav4 replaced last year after some hooligans threw a rock at it, and I still remember the quest. I ended up going to Speedy Glass on Central Street, and honestly, I was pleased. Not only did they see me the next day after I called, but they also explained all the details very clearly - from what kind of glass they would be installing to how long it would take and what insurance options they had. They immediately checked whether my provider would cover part of the amount, which was super convenient because I would not have bothered with it myself. The job took a little over an hour, and, what was a pleasant surprise - after installation, they gave me recommendations on how to care for the new glass so that it would last longer, for example, not to wash the car for 48 hours and avoid strong vibrations. I also know that PG Auto Glass on 1st Avenue also has its fans - my husband's colleague went there twice (windshield and rear window), he says that the guys are old school, but they do it carefully and without unnecessary show-off. They even suggested leaving the car in a warm place overnight so that the glue would set well - not all services are so bothered. By the way, regarding the warranty - be sure to check. Speedy seemed to have a 90-day warranty on installation, but maybe it has changed. Don't forget to look where the glass itself is made - Chinese ones are usually installed by default, but you can ask for Pilkington or PPG, they are stronger. So yes, there are not many "Auto Glass Stores in Prince George, BC", but there are good ones. The main thing is not to rush, and it is better to go in person, see how everything is organized. Good luck with the replacement!

Good topic raised, thanks for writing! Although I have not changed the glass in Prince George, I have heard from friends that many here have real problems with this in the winter, especially when there are sharp temperature changes - the old glass simply does not withstand. I will read on, maybe I will also find the info on these Auto Glass Stores in Prince George, BC useful.
